Heroes fall from the sky
Your first fall brings nine heroes at once, one of every class. There are 37 jobs, three of them demigods, and each has a Skill, a passive, a Leader bonus and a once-a-fight Awakening.

You draw lines through your band of nine. They decide who fights, who combos and which accords the band earns.
Break the Anchors
Six Grounds, each held by its Anchor
Walk each Ground field by field to the Anchor at its end. Then walk it again, harder.

Dressed for it
A Japanese outfit for every job
At its fifth Limit Break, a hero puts on a Japanese outfit made for its job: kimono, haori and hakama, with ceremonial weapons. All 37 jobs have one.

No programmers, every effect judged on a phone
Ninefall was made in about seven weeks by a graphic designer with no programmers. An AI studio built it under the designer's direction, across more than 1,200 pull requests: the designer decided by looking and playing, and the studio built, tested and proposed each change.
